(SAN DIEGO) April 29, 2009 – We are pleased to announce the Special Preview of 4 new HD channels on Monday, May 4th, before their official launch on June 4th. ABC Family HD, Disney HD, HBO2 HD and BET HD will be available on Monday, May 4, 2009.

ABC Family HD and Disney HD will be available to customers with Expanded Basic and HD service from Cox. HBO2 HD will be available to new or existing HBO customers who have HD service from Cox. These channels are simulcast channels of their standard definition equivalent channel already carried on our lineup. BET HD is only available on an East coast feed, so the BET HD programming will be three hours ahead of BET standard definition.

For the latest Cox channel lineup in your area, you may download a copy from our channel lineup section of coxsandiego.com. You can also create and print your own customized lineup with only the channel categories you watch the most!

Digital Cable customers can always use the Interactive Program Guide by pressing Guide from your remote control to find our most current channel lineup, search for program listings, read brief show summaries, or set program reminders so you don’t miss your favorite shows. You can even block programming that doesn’t fit your viewing taste with Parental Control.
