Cox Communications Rolls Out 19 New On Demand Channels In High Definition To San Diego Market
Channel launches bring total count to 67 HD channels for Cox customers

(SAN DIEGO) November 24, 2008 – Cox Communications is rolling out 19 new On Demand channels in high definition, bringing the total count to 67 HD channels available on Cox cable. In addition, the Opera Channel will launch on Music Choice for digital cable customers.

All 20 channels will officially launch on Dec. 8, but Cox customers now have access to them through a special sneak preview beginning today.

The new On Demand channels in HD bring together two of Cox Communications’ most popular services – high definition and on demand. In 2008, Cox launched 37 new HD channels, and it continues to see an upward trend of customers who are accessing on demand programming.

At any given time, Cox customers have instant access to more than 400 choices of the most popular high definition programming around, and thousands of on demand titles including hit movies and free on demand.
