COX LAUNCHES "PHONE TOOLS" IN SAN DIEGO - THE LATEST ONLINE EXTENSION OF COX DIGITAL TELEPHONE SERVICE
(San Diego) May 20, 2008 – Cox Digital Telephone customers now have a cool new (and free) way to maximize the features of their home telephone service via the Internet. Phone Tools, a new web-based tool, gives Cox Digital Telephone customers greater flexibility, control and ease in managing their home phone service. Whether you’re at home, work, or anywhere with access to the Internet, customers can instantly and easily:
- Listen to and manage Voice Mail messages
- View, print, and save incoming/outgoing call history (updated every 15 minutes!)
- Control calling features such as Call Waiting and Call Forwarding with the click of a mouse
- Set up email notification every time you receive a new Voice Mail
- Manage frequently used phone numbers
- Reset your Voice Mail PIN and change your greeting
“Phone Tools makes the Cox Digital Telephone experience unparallel to traditional phone service, and it represents the first of many innovative features that we’ll be able to bring our telephone customers,” said Colette Jelineo, Vice President of Marketing.
Phone Tools is a free service available to Cox Digital Telephone customers who also subscribe to Cox High Speed Internet. Customers can access Phone Tools from any computer with an Internet connection by selecting “Phone Tools” from the left-hand menu of sandiego.cox.net and using their primary email address and password to log on.
