Each day, Cox blocks millions of e-mails from known spammers from ever reaching your inbox.  Cox is currently installing more than 100 new servers across the country that will allow us to offer you new e-mail filtering for spam and viruses– at no additional charge to you!

Protecting Yourself Read carefully when filling out online forms and submitting any personal information. Don't give a Web-site operator your email address unless they offer the option of declining to receive email.

Use multiple email addresses. When using an unfamiliar Web site or posting to a newsgroup, establish an email address for that specific purpose. This can make it easy to shut off any address that is attracting spam. Your Cox.net account comes with seven email addresses to make this easy.
