Educational partnerships
are an integral component of Cox Communications’ commitment to the
communities we serve. To promote continuing education, Cox
Communications has established a Scholarship Fund to recognize exemplary
high school seniors in our service communities who are pursuing a degree
in Communications or a communications related field. Each scholarship
will be in the amount of $1,000.
2008 Application Criteria:
1. Academic excellence
2. Community involvement
3. Desire to pursue a course of study in Communication or a
Communication-related field
4. Attend school or live in a Cox service town in Connecticut and/or
Rhode Island
Cox Service towns in Rhode Island: Statewide
Cox Service Towns in Connecticut: Cheshire, East Windsor, East
Granby, Enfield, Glastonbury, Granby, Hartland, Manchester, Meriden,
Newington, North Granby, Rocky Hill, Somers, South Windsor, Southington,
Stafford, Suffield, Union, Wethersfield, Windsor Locks. |

Cox Communications recently presented $10,000 in
scholarships to 10 Rhode Island high school seniors at a
ceremony at the State House in Providence.

scholarships to 10 Connecticut high school seniors at a ceremony
at the State Capitol in Hartford.
The Secretary of the State, Susan
Bysiewicz was the Honorary Chair of the ceremony. Back row from
