2008 Cox Scholarship Application Form

2007 Recipients

 

Educational partnerships are an integral component of Cox Communications’ commitment to the communities we serve. To promote continuing education, Cox Communications has established a Scholarship Fund to recognize exemplary high school seniors in our service communities who are pursuing a degree in Communications or a communications related field. Each scholarship will be in the amount of $1,000.

2008 Application Criteria:

1. Academic excellence
2. Community involvement
3. Desire to pursue a course of study in Communication or a Communication-related field
4. Attend school or live in a Cox service town in Connecticut and/or Rhode Island

Cox Service Towns in Connecticut: Cheshire, East Windsor, East Granby, Enfield, Glastonbury, Granby, Hartland, Manchester, Meriden, Newington, North Granby, Rocky Hill, Somers, South Windsor, Southington, Stafford, Suffield, Union, Wethersfield, Windsor Locks.

Rhode Island:

Cox Communications recently presented $10,000 in scholarships to 10 Rhode Island high school seniors at a ceremony at the State House in Providence.
