Giving back to the communities we serve is a core value for Cox Communications. The company provides more than $4.4 million each year in monetary and in-kind contributions to organizations in Connecticut and Rhode Island that support children and education.

Sponsorship Criteria

Organizations must:

  • Be a 501(c)(3) nonprofit according to the IRS code; and
  • Serve areas where Cox’s New England has a business presence in Rhode Island and the following 19 towns in Connecticut: Meriden, Cheshire, Southington, East Granby, East Windsor, Enfield, Granby, Hartland, Somers, Stafford, Suffield, Union, Windsor Locks, Manchester, Glastonbury, Newington, Rocky Hill, South Windsor, and Wethersfield.

How to Submit a Request

Cox supports organizations in our service areas with Cash Sponsorships, Public Service Announcement (PSA) Sponsorships for airtime and other In-Kind contributions.

To submit requests, click the Cash Request Form, PSA Air Time Request Form or In-Kind General Request Form button on the right-hand column of the page. Cox accepts multiple requests; however, you need to submit individual applications. For example: if your organization is requesting a cash donation, PSA airtime, and a general in-kind request, then you must complete all three forms.

It is important to create an account using the legal name of your organization and then ensure this same account is used for multiple applications.

Cox will notify you about the status of the organization’s request within 60 days after the application(s) is submitted.

Please contact the community relations representative for your state:

  • Connecticut: Jill Thompson at (860) 432-5018

  • Rhode Island: Rosie Fernandez at (401) 615-1175.
